LynkDevice — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 7, 2026

LynkDevice ("the app", "we", "us") lets you mirror the notifications from one Android device to other devices you pair with it. This policy explains what information the app processes, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using LynkDevice you agree to this policy.

1. What the app does

On a device you choose as a source, LynkDevice reads incoming notifications and relays a copy to the target devices you have paired. Pairing is done by scanning a QR code shown on the target device.

2. Information the app processes

3. Notification access

LynkDevice uses Android's notification access permission (Notification Listener) solely to read notifications so they can be mirrored to your own paired devices at your request. Notification content is not used for advertising, sold, or shared with any party other than the devices you choose to pair. Only notifications from apps you explicitly toggle on are relayed.

4. How information is used

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use notification content for advertising.

5. Storage and retention

6. Third-party services

LynkDevice uses Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging and Analytics) to deliver mirrored notifications and to collect basic diagnostics. Your use of these services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Permissions we request

8. Your choices

9. Security

Notification data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) via Firebase. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

10. Children

LynkDevice is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
